
Nursing Faculty
Georgetown University School of Nursing & Health Studies includes faculty members with expertise in diverse academic and clinical areas of specialty.
Faculty members have been nationally recognized for teaching excellence, earned extramural funding for research and scholarship, entered the American Academy of Nursing as Fellows, and garnered prestigious honors, such as a Fulbright Award.
In the graduate arena, faculty members belong to national professional associations and have served in leadership capacities with organizations such as the American College of Nurse Midwives Foundation and the Northern Virginia Nurse Practitioner Association.
Faculty members also advance and disseminate scientific knowledge through research, teaching, and scholarship. Departmental areas of interest include environmental health, public health, the mental health of immigrant communities, clinical outcomes, nursing workforce, nursing care, and maternal and child health.
