AfterCollege/American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) Scholarship
AfterCollege, a professional network of nursing students, alumni and employers, has partnered with AACN to offer this scholarship to students pursuing nursing education programs.
Eligibility: Currently enrolled Master’s nursing students with a 3.25 GPA or higher.
Amount: $2,500

Nurse Practitioner Healthcare Foundation (NPHF) Nursing Scholarships
A collection of two scholarships and eight awards offered by the NPHF and partners to aid nurse practitioners in their graduate studies.
Eligibility: Nurse practitioner graduate students, with more specific requirements attached to each award.
Amount: $1,000 to $5,000, depending on award.

American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) Foundation Scholarship
The AANP offers three scholarships to nurse practitioners pursuing a Master of Science in Nursing degree.
Eligibility: Varies according to award, though all require applicants to be nurse practitioners, AANP members and U.S. citizens.
Amount: $1,000 to $3,000, according to award.

Nurses Educational Funds (NEF) Scholarship
This scholarship is offered by NEF, a non-profit organization offering financial assistance to graduate nurses.
Eligibility: Master’s students enrolled in a full- or part-time nursing program that is accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, and who have completed at least 12 credits of the program while maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.6.

American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) Continuing Professional Advancement Scholarships
The AACN offers its members a number of scholarships to advance their careers through advanced education.
Eligibility: Requirements vary by award, though all applicants must be active members of AACN.
Amount: Up to $3,000 depending on the particular scholarship.

National Black Nurses Association (NBNA) Scholarship
NBNA offers its members annual scholarships to assist them in growing their talents through continuing education.
Eligibility: A member of NBNA who is currently enrolled in a nursing program with good scholastic standing and at least one full year of school remaining.
Amount: $500 to $2,000, depending on scholarship.

American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM) Foundation Scholarships and Awards
The ACNM Foundation, the oldest women’s health care organization in the United States dedicated to the health and well-being of women and their infants, offers a number of awards and scholarships to student midwives.

American Assembly for Men in Nursing (AAMN) Foundation Scholarships
The AAMN, in conjunction with Johnson & Johnson, awards $1,000 scholarships to men who are pursuing pre-RN and graduate level nursing training. Since 2004, when the program began, AAMN has granted 50 scholarships to male nursing students. Scholarships vary as funding is available.
Eligibility: Male students who are enrolled in pre-RN or graduate level nursing studies.

American Holistic Nurses Association (AHNA) Charlotte McGuire Scholarships
The AHNA supports nurses who engage in holistic nursing, or nursing which aims to heal the whole patient rather than just physical symptoms. The organization annually awards scholarships to undergraduate and graduate nursing students devoted to holistic nursing.
Eligibility: Students pursuing holistic nursing, who have been members of AHNA for at least one year and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Daughters of the American Revolution Scholarships
The National Society for the Daughters of the American Revolution is a women’s service organization that promotes patriotism and works for America’s future by supporting education. Each year, the DAR provides a number of scholarships for those pursuing degrees in nursing who demonstrate financial need.
Eligibility: Varies based on award; must be accepted or enrolled in an accredited nursing school.
