In the AG-ACNP program, you will:

Grow as a practitioner under the attentive guidance of Georgetown University School of Nursing (GUSON) faculty, who are fellows, active clinicians, and leaders in adult critical care.

Develop specialized skills in HD-streaming, live distance-based, online classes, informed by interactive content such as a 3D anatomy tool.


Practice clinical techniques, including central line insertion, at Objective Clinical Intensive with standardized patients and genitourinary teaching associates (GUTA).


Treat adult and geriatric patients during clinical placements at sites that meet Georgetown University standards.

Prepare to Become Board Certified Through the ANCC and AACN

AG-ACNP graduates are eligible to sit for certification exams offered by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN).
