Student Ambassador FAQs
How do I apply?
If you are a current student who meets the academic criteria, please complete the application form found on this site.
How will I find out if I was accepted as a Student Ambassador?
You will receive an email addressing whether or not you were accepted as a Nursing@Georgetown Student Ambassador.
How do I volunteer for activities as a Student Ambassador?
Accepted Student Ambassadors receive training in the orientation section of 2GU. A Student Ambassador Liaison works with all Student Ambassadors to answer their questions, and manage requests for Student Ambassador involvement. You will meet your Student Ambassador Liaison during an introduction webinar after your initial orientation. Any requests for a Student Ambassador will go directly to the Student Ambassador Liaison, who will send reasonable opportunities to the Student Ambassadors.
What is the time commitment?
Each responsibility above comes with a different time requirement. Your Student Ambassador Liaison will ensure that these commitments do not exceed 1 or 2 hours per week, as your academics come first!
How long will I be a Student Ambassador?
Once a Nursing@Georgetown Student Ambassador, always a Nursing@Georgetown Student Ambassador. If interested, you can even participate as a graduate of the program.
