Earning Your Nursing License Credentials
It is our goal to prepare all graduates with the knowledge and skills necessary to pass nursing certification exams on the first try. Recent graduates of the program have achieved exemplary first-time pass rates.
Family Nurse Practitioner graduates are eligible to sit for the Family Nurse Practitioner certification exam offered by the American Credentialing Center (ANCC) and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
Nurse-Midwifery/Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner graduates are eligible to sit for certification exams offered by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB, formerly ACNM: American College of Nurse Midwives) and the National Certification for Obstetric, Gynecological, and Neonatal Nursing Specializations (NCC).
Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner graduates are eligible to sit for the Adult Gerontology ACNP exam for board certification and credentialing offered by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and the American Associate of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN).
