Values-Based AG-ACNP Curriculum in an Online Format

The Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AG-ACNP) program prepares registered nurses (RNs) to provide direct patient management in acute and complex care settings as Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs).

Through a blend of asynchronous didactic content, synchronous class sessions, and on-campus intensives (OCIs), students learn to communicate clearly with patients and families and manage multifaceted acute health situations.

Collaborative, small classes led by NHS faculty and high-quality clinical placement opportunities help students further hone their nursing expertise.

The online AG-ACNP program is offered on a part-time basis and can be completed in 23 months.

A Learning Experience That Blends Online and In-Person Opportunities

The online experience is designed to help you cultivate the expertise and abilities you need to succeed as an AG-ACNP.

As a student, you will experience the same academically rigorous, values-based education shared by all Georgetown University students.

Students in the online program benefit from the following features:

High-quality, live-streaming classes
that are hosted via the Zoom webinar platform and led by practicing NHS faculty members.

Dynamic course content, including compelling course videos, interactive readings, and preparatory quizzes that equip students for live sessions.

OCI learning immersions
, where you will collaborate with peers and complete complex clinical simulations.
