Georgetown University Email

Set Up Your University Email (Hoya Mail)

All students are required to use their Georgetown University email accounts. Do not wait to activate these accounts. All communication and updates from Georgetown University, including financial aid notifications, will be sent to this address.

Check your Georgetown University email daily for messages about registration, news, events and updates or announcements from faculty. 

You will receive access to your Hoya Mail after paying your enrollment deposit. To set up your Hoya Mail account, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Hoya Mail.
  2. Use your NetID credentials to log in (same login as GU Experience).
  3. If you want to reset your password, visit the Password Management System. (This will reset it for MyAccess and Hoya Mail.)
