An Immersive Online Format for Aspiring WHNPs

The online Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) program prepares registered nurses (RNs) to treat and prevent illnesses specific to women as well as provide multiple types of focused care as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN):

  • Primary care
  • Prenatal and postpartum care
  • Life span care through menopause
  • General wellness and preventive care
  • Reproductive health care

Students in the WHNP program benefit from the same demanding, values-based education all Georgetown University students experience.

Coursework is delivered through a blend of asynchronous didactic content, synchronous class sessions, and on-campus intensives (OCIs).

Students complete the program on a part-time basis, allowing them to pursue an advanced degree while maintaining personal and professional commitments.
