Clinical Requirements

RN License

You are required to obtain an RN license for your state of residence and for any neighboring states within 100 miles of your preferred placement address.

Background Check, Drug Screen, and Immunization Requirements

As a Nursing@Georgetown student, you are required to maintain full clinical compliance at all times in the program. To manage this, you will utilize a database system called CastleBranch. Follow the instructions in the guide below to place your order for your first annual drug screen and background check package.

Download CastleBranch Instruction Guide (PDF).

Your background check package will allow you to purchase your entire medical document manager and your first OSHA/HIPAA annual requirement.

The background check and drug test are due 21 days prior to the start of classes and should be completed prior to this deadline. All other items need to be completed by the first week of classes. Contact your Student Success Specialist if you have additional questions or need assistance.
